Through the Strengthening Muskegon County Project, workshops will be held to benefit the faith-based/community organizations and townships in Muskegon County.

The five areas of training to be provided through workshops will be:

  1. Board and Staff Development, including how to recruit and Motivate Board members and how to develop staff and technology infrastructure.

  2. Strategic Planning /
    Data Collection

  3. Grant Writing / Resource Procurement, including access funding for computers and other technology infrastructure.

  4. Fund Development /
    Grant Requirements    , including the development of memoranda of understandings for project partnerships.

  5. Accounting / Record Keeping
